Manufacture and Import Chemical Products in Sweden (Notification)

Those who professionally manufacture or import chemical products or biotechnical organisms in at least 100 kg per year must notify them to the Swedish Chemicals Agency's product register. This applies if the products are included in the annex to the Ordinance on Chemical Products and Biotechnical Organisms (2008:245).

Companies that manufacture or import chemical products in quantities less than 100 kg must also notify their company to the Swedish Chemicals Agency. For quantities of at least 1000 kg per year, a chemical fee must also be paid. Manufacturers and importers are responsible for complying with all regulations for chemical products.
