Mooring Permit
A mooring permit (ligplaatsvergunning) for a houseboat (woonboot or woonark) grants the indefinite right to occupy a mooring with your houseboat in municipal waters. The permit is only available for existing and registered moorings.
To obtain a mooring permit, you must purchase an existing houseboat with a valid mooring permit. You can then submit a request to have the permit transferred to your name. The municipality assesses whether all conditions are met and may impose additional requirements on the houseboat and mooring.
