Social Care Subsidy
Social care subsidy (maatschappelijke zorg subsidie) is intended for organizations that organize activities that strengthen the social foundation of residents. This subsidy supports initiatives in the areas of welfare, participation, elderly care, youth work, and other forms of social support.
The subsidy aims to make communities more resilient and prevent social isolation. Organizations can apply for subsidies for structural or incidental activities that contribute to the well-being and self-reliance of residents. Applications for the coming year can usually be submitted during the summer months.
Requirements
- Objective: The activities must contribute to the social foundation and well-being of residents.
- Activity plan: A detailed plan describing the activities, target group, and expected results.
- Budget: A realistic budget of costs and any other income.
- Legal entity: The applicant must be a legal entity, such as an association or foundation.
Procedure
- Application period: Applications for the coming year can usually be submitted from June 15 to August 31.
- Submit application: Submit a subsidy request to the municipality with an activity plan and budget.
- Assessment: The municipality assesses the application based on the municipal subsidy regulation and the extent to which the activities contribute to the social foundation.
- Decision: Upon approval, the organization receives subsidy for carrying out the activities.
- Accountability: After completion, the organization must account for the expenditure and the results achieved.
