Fireworks Application Permit

The fireworks application permit (vuurwerk toepassingsvergunning) is a permit that companies need to be allowed to ignite fireworks. This permit grants the right to provide fireworks shows as a business and is a prerequisite to operate as a professional fireworks company at all.

In addition to this application permit, an ignition notification or ignition permit must also be applied for from the province each time fireworks are ignited, depending on the quantity and type of fireworks. The application permit is issued by the province or the national government.
