Mobile Crusher Use Notification
A mobile crusher is an installation used at a construction or demolition site to crush rubble and construction waste. A notification must be made to the municipality for the use of a mobile crusher. This is a legal obligation under the Building Works Living Environment Decree (Besluit bouwwerken leefomgeving).
The notification must be submitted online at least 15 working days before you start the work. Making a notification for a mobile crusher is free of charge. The municipality checks whether the work complies with regulations for noise and other environmental aspects.
Requirements
- Term: The notification must be made at least 15 working days before the start of work
- Online notification: The notification must be submitted digitally via the Environment Portal (Omgevingsloket)
- Location: Use must take place at a construction or demolition site within the municipality
- Data: You must provide information about the location, period of use and type of crusher
Procedure
- Online notification: Submit a notification via the Environment Portal at least 15 working days in advance
- Confirmation: You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt from the municipality
- Assessment: The municipality assesses the notification and may contact you for additional information
- Start of work: After the waiting period of 15 working days you may start, unless the municipality has objections
- Compliance with regulations: You must comply with legal requirements for noise and other environmental requirements
