Excavation Notification

If you are going to carry out excavation work in underground areas where cables and pipelines are located, you are required to submit an excavation notification to the Kadaster (Land Registry) in advance. Through the Kadaster you will receive information about the exact location of cables and pipelines in the excavation area. This information is essential to prevent excavation damage to gas, water, electricity and telecom cables.

The excavation notification is mandatory under the Information Exchange Act for Above-ground and Underground Networks (WIBON). You must submit the notification at least 3 working days before the start of the work.
