Building Land Allocation

Building land allocation concerns the sale of building plots by municipalities to individuals or companies for housing construction or other building projects. Municipalities offer housing plots at various locations where buyers can build their own home or business premises within the applicable conditions and zoning plan requirements.

For the purchase of these plots, usually no social or economic connection with the municipality is required. Plot prices vary by location and size. The allocation of building land falls under civil law (Burgerlijk Wetboek Boek 7) and is arranged through purchase agreements between municipality and buyer.
