These include childcare, assistance for elderly or disabled persons, housekeeping, tutoring, gardening, IT support, and home meal delivery. To operate, you file a declaration with your regional DDETS (or DREETS) via the NOVA online platform.Certain activities involving vulnerable people require a prior agrément from the prefecture: care for children under three, assistance for elderly dependents, and support for disabled persons. The declaration gives your clients access to a 50% tax credit and lets you issue CESU vouchers. You must comply with a national quality specification (cahier des charges) and submit annual activity reports.

Tattooing and Body Piercing
RegionalTattooing and body piercing includes techniques of tattooing by skin penetration (including permanent makeup) and body piercing, excluding earlobe and nostril piercing performed with a piercing gun. This activity is performed by professionals specially trained in hygiene and health safety rules.Any person wishing to practice this activity must have completed mandatory training of at least 21 hours provided by an organization approved by the Regional Health Agency (Agence régionale de santé, ARS) and file a prior activity declaration with the ARS. Permanent makeup falls under the same tattooing hygiene framework and requires the same 21-hour training.

Non-Industrial Dyeing
RegionalThis registration covers non-industrial dry cleaning and laundry businesses in France. It applies to anyone opening a shop that washes, dry-cleans, dyes, or irons clothes and textiles for individual customers.You must register with the Chambre de métiers et de l'artisanat (CMA). If you use chemical solvents (perchloroethylene or similar), your premises may be classified as an installation classée pour la protection de l'environnement (ICPE), which requires a declaration or permit from the préfecture. Price display rules and ERP safety standards also apply.
