Notification in Accordance with the Health Protection Act
Municipal
If you operate a business where conditions may affect customers' health, you must notify the municipal health protection authority before starting. This applies to accommodation providers, gyms, saunas, spas, swimming halls, public beaches, daycare centres, educational institutions, social welfare services providing continuous care, reception centres, beauty salons, tattoo studios, and solarium businesses. The notification must describe your operations, premises and all services offered. Beauty salons at home only need to notify if performing treatments that break the skin, such as microblading. Hairdressing and barbering alone do not require a notification. No notification is needed if the operations already require an environmental permit. The authority may set conditions to prevent health hazards.
