Notification of the Use of Effects in a Public Event and a Public Meeting

A notification of the use of pyrotechnic products, explosives and hazardous chemicals as special effects in public events and public meetings must be submitted to the rescue authority before the event is organised. Special effects include pyro effects (categories T1 and T2) such as sparkle fountains, mines and comets, as well as effects created with hazardous chemicals such as LPG or aerosols.

Based on the notification, the rescue authority may set restrictions and conditions on the intended use, necessary for the safe handling of the effects. The rescue authority may prohibit their use if, at the intended place and time, they are deemed to pose an apparent risk of personal injury, damage to the environment or damage to property.
