Exemption from the Obligation to Connect to the Water and Sewer Network
Properties must as a rule connect to the water and sewer networks of the municipal or joint municipal water supply facility, especially properties in town plan areas. The municipal environmental authority may upon application grant a property under construction an exemption from the obligation to connect to the water or sewer network on certain grounds.
An exemption can be granted if connection to the network would be unreasonably expensive or difficult, if the need for services is very minor, or if there are other special reasons for the exemption. The exemption must not endanger proper water services in the area.
